Appian Introduces Updated Platform to Enhance Data and Process Automation Through AI

  • Process HQ with AI-Suggested Starting Points: This feature accelerates process investigations by providing views with key performance indicators, process details, and filters.
  • AI Copilot in Case Management Studio: Enables users to quickly identify information through case comments and document summaries, as well as create data fields through guided data modeling.
  • AI Copilot for Developers: This tool automates the generation of tests for expression rules, speeding up this process and increasing test coverage.
  • Prompt Builder: This feature is now natively available in new Appian Cloud locations, including Australia, Canada, France, the UK, Ireland, India, and Brazil, providing additional support across various regions worldwide.

Security and Compliance

From a security and compliance standpoint, Appian’s latest update is notable for its HITRUST certification. Appian ensures that its AI Copilot and AI Skills (discussed below) conform to the stringent security and regulatory requirements of HITRUST and HIPAA.The Appian update includes HITRUST certification compliance for AI Copilot and AI Skills, ensuring a high level of security and adherence to regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
